The Sacral Chakra

Everything related to sexuality, creativity and emotions is governed by the Sacral Chakra.

We find the Sacral Chakra at approximately 7cm below the navel, at the centre of the lower belly, in the area of our reproductive organs. When you think about it, it makes sense because procreation takes place in this area. All of the female reproductive organs lie in this area, and in the male body the testicles are governed by the Sacral Chakra.

When this chakra shifts its vibration, it resonates pale pink. The more feminine qualities of our Being is normally associated with the colour pink. It is also associated with compassion as well as our ability to receive love.

To remind ourselves of these qualities we can consume naturally pink foods. These include pink grapefruit, apples, watermelon, pitaya (dragon fruit), pomegranate, rose petals and dianthus flowers.

This chakra is also under the care of Archangel Gabriel. This Archangel also takes care of the Root and the Navel Chakras. We will be looking at the Navel Chakra in my next chakra tip!
