The Earth Star is the first chakra we encounter when working from bottom to top. Situated BELOW your feet, and IN the ground, it is therefore called a Sub-Personal chakra.

This chakra connects us to the Earth and to all of Humanity. We feel and experience the fears related to economic, political and social conditions through this chakra. The Earth Star Chakra is responsible for healing archetypal traumas, which include cultural prejudice, genocide and colonisation.

The chakra is approximately 30cm below the soles of the feet. It resonates both black and white. We grow from this chakra towards heaven because, just like a tree, it acts as our roots (or anchor) to this reality. The crystals that I would associate with this chakra, are Apache Tears, Black Obsidian, Black Onyx, Black Tourmaline, Hematite, Jet, Iron Pyrite, Magnetite, Smokey quartz, Snowflake Obsidian, Turquoise, Labradorite. The Archangel associated with this chakra is Archangel Sandalphon.
